Brake Repair in Thanet You Can Rely On
Stopping Power Should Never Be an Afterthought
Brakes wear gradually, which is exactly why so many drivers don't notice a problem until it's become a serious one. At Westwood Service Centre, our brake repair in Thanet covers everything from a routine pad change to a full diagnosis of grinding, pulling, or a soft pedal, carried out by technicians trained to spot the early signs most drivers miss.
Common Signs Your Brakes Need Attention
A squeal when you brake, a longer stopping distance, or the car pulling to one side under braking are all worth getting checked promptly. So is a pedal that feels softer than usual or a dashboard warning light. It's worth booking any of these in quickly, since catching a brake fault early usually keeps the repair simple and the cost reasonable, rather than letting it wear into something more serious over the following weeks.
The Westwood Service Centre Brake Check
A full inspection of pads, discs, callipers, and brake lines
Measurement of remaining pad and disc thickness against safe limits
A check of brake fluid condition and level
Replacement of any worn components, using parts matched to your car
We'll always show you what's worn and explain why it needs replacing before any work goes ahead, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
